Gran Maestro Appassimento Rosso 2019
An interesting and eccentric blend of Primitivo and Sangiovese from partially dehydrated grapes. Ruby red color with brackish hints. Medium bodied, and medium high acidity. Round and sweet tannins. Very good balance. Dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, cinnamon and tobacco on the nose with interesting notes of leather, truffles, and earth. Ripe dark and sour cherries, smoked plums, coffee, chocolate, mint, and spices on the palate.
