Leonard Kreusch Riesling Mosel
The Mosel and Rhein regions’ proximity to their respective rivers provides the vines with the microclimate needed to produce the highest quality wines. The combination of extended daylight (due to Germany’s northern latitude – an average of nearly 15 hours daily) during the growing season, which extends well into October, as well as the temperate climate, is why the vineyards of Germany are the ideal home for the noble Riesling vine.
Produced using temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve and enhance the delicate attributes the Riesling grape offers, this wine is delightfully fresh and fruity making it the perfect choice for gatherings, both large and small.
Our Mosel Riesling has moderate intensity with fresh flavors of green apple, fruity pear and touch of citrusy grapefruit. It’s nicely balanced, with pleasant sweetness and hint of mineral on the finish.
This wine is quite versatile and perfect for any occasion – excellent as an aperitif or with a host of lighter fare. Serve chilled (10°C/50°F)
